Ready for the world?

Submitted by Jeff on

After about 3 years of use with some friends of mine, I am opening this up to the world. I have added a landing page to the site that I see a number of people trying to hit but only see a "Sign in" button and a footer. There are a few other cosmetic changes that I have made, mainly to the title bar to make it look a bit more like an application.

I currently have 3 basic types of ballots Multiple Choice, RSVP and Count.

  • Multiple Choice - A ballot to allow multiple options to be selected and weighted dependent on choice order. There are some other options that let users add options and view results.
  • RSVP - A simple ballot to help determine if someone is going and what the head count could be.
  • Count - This was an attempt on a more complicated RSVP ballot. It lets people enter a number for all of the options. Might be good for type of people counts like kids verse adults. Maybe even good for supply inventory requests.

On the landing page you can see some of the ballot options, submit issues and provide comments. To create your own ballot you just need to sign into the application with any Google or Facebook credentials and start building. Currently no plans on selling email addresses from logged in profiles, but may use the information for notifications down the road.

Look forward to seeing how other people utilize the application. A reminder this is a side project, and may be slow for development, but I hope to respond as quickly as I can to issues barring life getting in the way.
